Neighbors Helping Neighbors
For more than 122 years Lancaster Regional Medical Center has been a health care organization dedicated to Lancaster County. We offer the highest quality of care in a warm and friendly atmosphere, expanding our medical technologies and services while contributing to our community's well being through outreach and education.
We remain steadfast in our dedication to offer a choice in health needs. Over the last five years, improvements to our facilities and advances in state-of-the-art technologies have helped us grow to meet those needs. However, our focus has never wavered - providing the most advanced quality health services in a safe and compassionate environment.
Today, our highly skilled team - your friends and neighbors - is made up of more than 680 employees, 500 physicians and 500 volunteers. Our team's main focus is on our patients. We're dedicated to providing the best in patient safety using the highest level of expertise to earn the trust of Lancaster County residents.
Maintaining Trust
To maintain that trust, we remain at the forefront of today's medical breakthroughs. In the past several years, Lancaster Regional has invested over $25 million in facility improvements and advanced medical technology. A few of those include:
DaVinci® Robotic Surgery
Trained surgeons using the DaVinci® Surgical System, the world's most advanced surgical system, to offer patients less invasive surgery with smaller incisions, quicker recovery time and smaller scars.
Improved Cardiac Catheterization Suites
If your physician has recommended you receive a diagnostic catheterization, stenting or balloon angioplasty procedure, our newest Flat Detector Cardiovascular X-ray Imager offers exceptional image quality and a safer procedure with little or no scar.
Diagnostic Technologies
- PACS-Picture Archiving Communication System: Your physician can immediately access your images following exam
- New GE Excite 12.0 Platform, Improved image detail, decrease scan times, same day scheduling
- ACR accreditation in US and MR services: Confidence in quality imaging
- Excellent Quality Assurance program with emphasis on Image quality, Customer Satisfaction, Patient Safety
Rest assured that you are experiencing imaging at it's very best, by highly skilled, specialized technologists who adhere to the strictest of standards. Better quality images mean improved diagnostic capabilities for our physicians and better treatment for our patients.
We recognize that being a good neighbor means remaining active in the health of our community. We offer health education, support groups and needed programs and services like a dedicated and compassionate inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, an Adult Day Services Program and an active Pastoral Care Program.
