Deborah Willwerth, MSN, RN
Chief Operating Officer
Deborah Willwerth’s career includes 30 years in healthcare, beginning as a critical care RN and progressing to Chief Nursing Officer at the former Community Hospital of Lancaster 2002-2004 and Heart of Lancaster from 2004 -2008. In April 2008 Deborah made the move to the operational side of healthcare as the Chief Operating Officer at Lancaster Regional and oversees Diagnostic Imaging, Dietary, Environmental Services, Facility Operations, Lab and Pathology, Pharmacy, Quality/Risk, psychiatry and Security along with Volunteer Services and Spiritual Services.
Deborah received her BSN degree from Millersville, her MSN from Widener University and is also board certified as a Nurse Executive – Advanced from the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Deborah serves on the Board of PA State Nurses Association - District 16 and acts as the district legislative liaison, as well as on the Board for PALCO (Patient Access of Lancaster County).
Together, Deborah and her husband Doug are the proud parents of 5 children and 12 grandchildren. When not working Deborah enjoys time at the Chesapeake Bay, cooking or just enjoying time with her grandchildren and extended family.
