Nursing at LRMC

Welcome to Nursing at LRMC

Hi, my name is Tami Lee. I am the Chief Nursing Officer at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. I have been in nursing for over twelve years. I have dual masters degrees in nursing and business administration (MSN & MBA) as well as certification as a nurse executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

I want to take a moment to discuss nursing at LRMC with you and tell you about our exciting opportunities here. We are a community hospital, committed to high quality, compassionate care.  We provide a "home-like" environment to our patients, physicians and staff.  Press Ganey, Inc.  ranks our customer satifaction as one of the best in the country.

LRMC Service Promises H.E.A.R.T., which stands for Healing Hands, Exceptional Care, Attentiveness, Respect, and Trust. It states very clearly how we care for our patients and our community.  We have a patient advocate, who visits our patients upon admission.  We have dedicated and experienced nursing directors over each unit.

We are committed to our patients and our employees and offer some flexible scheduling plans to fit anyone’s life style. We offer numerous float pool options and a weekend program option.

Nurses at LRMC are actively involved in decision-making that affects their practice at the bedside. Who better to make the decisions about patient care than the caregivers? At LRMC, we have great, patient safe nurse to patient ratios in all our areas.  Our nurses are specially trained in cardiac, neuro, ortho, urology, gynecology and many other specialties.  We have private rooms with the most advanced medication administration barcoding system.  In January 2010,  we launched our ER Extra Campagin. Extra Fast. Extra Easy. Extraordinary Care. We are the best kept secret in Lancaster County.

So take a closer look at LRMC! Make a better choice! Become part of the best nursing team in Pennsylvania.  Feel free to contact me directly with any questions about our nursing care, our staffing programs or anything else. I look forward to meeting you.

Regards,

Tami Lee, MSN, MBA, RN, NE-BC
