Important: Don’t delay! Call 911 right away if you believe you are having a heart attack, stroke or experiencing signs of cardiac arrest, or if you believe someone close by is showing signs. A prompt call to 911 means you or someone else will be taken to LRMC for immediate treatment and a life can be saved.
You Have Choices for Expert Comprehensive Cardiac Care. Trust in Our Experience.
Caring for the health of your heart is a lifelong endeavor. And healing hearts is a venture that requires expert cardiac skills. LRMC provides the highest quality of cardiac care from state-of-the-art diagnostics and cutting edge procedures to complete rehabilitation. We can provide cardiac education and early stage treatment and support to prevent, detect and address issues related to heart disease.
In fact, Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center are the only hospitals in Lancaster County to be accredited by The Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC).

Some of our patients are referred to our cardiac care service by a family physician, internist, or cardiologist. Some patients are admitted through the emergency room. However you come to LRMC, be assured the cardiac care team of emergency medicine physicians, registered invasive cardiovascular professionals, cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care nurses, and cardiopulmonary therapists will work together to give you the best possible care. The cardiac care service provides care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is worth repeating: when a cardiac emergency happens, quick diagnosis and proper science-based treatments are crucial. Our patients talk about the kind, capable care they receive from the region’s best team of physicians, nurses and cardiovascular professionals. That’s the only way to provide individualized care.
And just as important as physical healing is emotional well being. We’ll also help ensure that you have all the educational and support programs and services you and your loved ones need to understand your heart condition and manage your lives through treatment and recovery.
The choice is yours. Should your doctor recommend testing for heart disease, ask for a referral to LRMC's Cardiac Care Network.
