Food and Nutrition Services

The Food and Nutrition Services at Lancaster Regional Medical Center provides nutritious meals to patients and visitors.

The Regional Cafe located on the first floor, is open daily for breakfast from 6 am to 10 am and for lunch and dinner from 11 am to 6 pm.  We offer Entrees, Pizza, Deli Sandwiches, Salad Bar area, Soup and Desserts.  Brewed Awakenings is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the Main Lobby area, and is open from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. Monday and Fridays; and 6:30 - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.  Brewed Awakenings offers Specialty Coffees, Smoothies, Frozen Cappuccino's, Pastries and Panini Sandwiches and Soup.  

Inpatient Meals
If you are an inpatient at LRMC, your physician will order a diet appropriate for your medical needs. At Your Request Room Service Dining is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Our menu offers a wide selection of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our room service operators are available daily from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm to assist you. If you have a family member or visitor who would like to eat with you, guest trays can be purchased in the Regional Cafe. Once you purchase the guest voucher simply call the room service operator to place your order. 

Our staff of Registered Dietitians will monitor any special nutritional needs that you may have and are available for questions during you hospital stay. If needed, the dietitians will provide you information concerning your diet upon discharge.

Cafe to You
You can order meals for you or a loved one to take home with you when you leave LRMC. It takes the stress out of the need to cook!

Outpatient Nutritional Therapy Services

Steps to Scheduling:

  1. Obtain a referral from your physician
  2. Schedule your appointment through One Call Scheduling at 291-8399
  3. Bring your insurance information and referral to your appointment  
Medicare Medical Nutrition Therapy is available for diabetes and kidney disease.  Other Nutritional Services will need to be billed to secondary insurance.  Specific criteria must be met to qualify.   

Diabetes Self Management Classes are scheduled for 2 hours weekly for 6 weeks.  Patients meet with the Dietitian and the Certified Diabetes Manager.  Morning and Evening classes are available.  Call Central Scheduling for class enrollment.  

Weight Management Classes are available periodically throughout the year.  Please call 291-8399 for details.
