Spiritual Care Services

At LRMC, we understand how important spiritual care is to our patients. No matter your faith, our Spiritual Care Services are here to assist you and provide support and guidance during your time of need.

Request a Visit From a Chaplain:
Chaplains are an additional bridge of support, along with one’s usual spiritual resources. Ask a nurse to arrange a chaplain’s visit or simply dial x8414.

Services of the Chaplain:
  • Prayer
  • Spiritual and emotional support
  • Help in making difficult decisions
  • Reading of prayer and scripture
  • Spiritual self-assessment
  • Notification of your place of worship
  • Information on living wills
  • Wellness and well being  resources
  • Worship services
  • Supportive care of the dying

Scripture:
Each patient room contains a Bible. If other spiritual reading materials are desired, please call x8414 and we will be happy to get them for you.

Your Clergy:
The support of one’s worship community is very important to many people. LRMC suggests you let your clergy know you are here. If you would LRMC to notify them for you, please call x8414.

Worship and Meditation:
The Mass, “Liturgy of the Eucharist,” is celebrated in LRMC’s Main Chapel on the ground floor at the following times, and is also simultaneously televised on Patient Channel 15:

Sunday 9am
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12:05pm

Morning and evening prayer is proclaimed each day over the public address system.

The Main Chapel and the smaller Meditation Chapel, located on the ground floor next to the café, are always available for your reflection and prayer.
