We offer the highest quality of care in a warm and friendly atmosphere, expanding our medical technologies and services while contributing to our community's well being through outreach and education. And we remain steadfast in our dedication to offer a choice in health needs. Over the last five years, improvements to our facilities and advances in state-of-the-art technologies have helped us grow to meet those needs. However, our focus has never wavered - we still provide the most advanced quality health services in a safe and compassionate environment.
Today, our highly skilled team - your friends and neighbors - is made up of more than 680 employees, 500 physicians and 500 volunteers. Our team's main focus is on our patients. We're dedicated to providing the best in patient safety using the highest level of expertise to earn the trust of Lancaster County residents.
We remain at the forefront of today's medical breakthroughs. In the past several years, Lancaster Regional has invested over $25 million in facility improvements and advanced medical technology. Here are a few highlights:
da Vinci® Si Robotic Surgery
Trained surgeons using the da Vinci® Si Surgical System, the world's most advanced surgical system, to offer patients less invasive surgery with smaller incisions, quicker recovery time and smaller scars.
Lancaster Regional is the first and only hospital in Central PA to offer MAKOplasty® Partial Knee Resurfacing. It is a minimally invasive, innovative surgical option for adults living with early to mid-stage osteoarthritis of the knee. It is powered by the RIO® Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System, which allows for consistently reproducible precision in performing partial knee resurfacing.
Accredited Interventional Chest Pain Center
Lancaster Regional is the 1st and Only Accredited Interventional Chest Pain Center in Lancaster County! Lancaster Regional recently received full accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) by the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC), an international organization dedicated to eliminating heart disease as the number one cause of death worldwide. This is a significant milestone for Lancaster Regional’s comprehensive Cardiac Care Network.
Improved Cardiac Catheterization Suites
If your physician has recommended you receive a diagnostic catheterization, stenting or balloon angioplasty procedure, our newest Flat Detector Cardiovascular X-ray Imager offers exceptional image quality and a safer procedure with little or no scar.
